Cotton stroller or Ness stroller? This simple question is one of the most common ones that we receive through the different channels that we have enabled for our clients to ask us questions they have about Asalvo products. At Asalvo, we have been working for almost 20 years manufacturing with love products for your baby, because we care about you and him. In these almost 20 years many products have left our facilities and they have always done so with the premise of quality at the best price. We are not wrong if we say that they are two of our most successful products, and success is not given to us by anyone other than our customers, customers like you. Both strollers are liked by moms and dads of all types, conditions, ages and sexes, and they are very popular with current, modern moms and dads, who want the best for their babies, but without ceasing to be up to date with the latest fashion, who want the best for their babies, but also products that make their lives easier.
We are going to try to explain to you in a simple way what similarities and what differences exist between the two models, so that, with our help, at the end of this post you will be clear if you are a Cotton mom or dad, or a Ness mom or dad. We are going to give you 10 similarities and only 7 differences between our favorite strollers. Believe us when we tell you that all the similarities between the two are compelling reasons for you to choose one of our chairs. And also believe us when we tell you that we are sure that the differences are what you will look at depending on your circumstances and those of your baby (height and age, size of the trunk, if you live at home or in an apartment with or without an elevator, if you live in the city or near the countryside, etc.) to tip the balance towards one side or the other. We start…

What do the Cotton chair and the Ness chair by Asalvo have in common?
1.- They are approved for use up to 22 kg
2.- Padded textile in high-quality melange fabric, easy to clean, with removable chair sides to facilitate ventilation
3.- Reclining backrest in three positions, with a total reclining of 180º, so you can adapt it to any moment:
sleep, explore what surrounds you, play... It is a lever system and not a rope, more comfortable and easier to handle
4.- Adjustable footrest in two positions
5.- Storage basket with side opening with zipper to have access to it without disturbing your baby if he is lying down
6.- Removable and foldable front safety bar for greater ease when loading or unloading your baby
7.- Suspension on both front and rear wheels
8.- Rain cover and cup holder included
9.- High-density EVA rubber wheels, suitable for all types of terrain you walk on
10.- System stand alone that allows your chair to stand up once folded

How are the Cotton chair and the Ness chair by Asalvo different?
1.-Size of the backrest-seat. The Ness chair has a higher and wider backrest than the Cotton chair. While the first one is 50 cm x 35 cm, the Cotton one is 43 cm x 32 cm. This means that the space for your little one, when lying down, is greater in the Ness chair than in the Cotton: 90 cm long in total compared to 83 cm.
2.- Size of the wheels. The wheels of the Ness chair have a diameter of 17 cm (front) and 21 cm (rear), compared to 15 cm (front) and 16 cm (rear) of the Cotton chair. As we indicated in the similarities, both have good suspension and cushioning on all four wheels so, despite the difference in size, both are a great option regardless of the terrain.
3.- Handlebar. The handlebar of the Cotton chair is fixed because the folding mechanism is inserted in the handlebar itself, so you can fold it with just one hand. The one on the Ness stroller however has four positions, but you need both hands to fold it.
4.- Hood. Although both hoods are adjustable, with window and pocket and quite wide and therefore ideal for protecting your baby from the sun, but also from wind and cold, the one on the Ness chair is larger, XXL in size, as it reaches up to the front bar.
5.- Weight. Although both chassis are made of aluminum, the one of the Cotton chair is metallic compared to the black of the Ness chair. The Ness chair has a weight of 8.9 kg compared to 7.6 kg for the Cotton chair. Both are, however, very light and easy to handle, because they are designed to be carried with one hand.
6.- Folding. As you have seen in the previous differences between the two chairs, almost everything in the Ness chair is larger than in the Cotton chair. As everything is larger, so is its folding. At Asalvo, we would love to design a chair that is large enough for your baby to have more space, and that you could pick up so much that you could fit in a backpack, but What cannot be, cannot be, and is also impossible. We use a popular saying to highlight the obvious: there are parents who want their chair to be ultra-compact, stay very tucked in, and also almost serve as a bed for a child who is, for example, 4 years old.
7.- Aesthetics. The Ness chair and the Cotton chair are aesthetically different. Although it is very subjective, we like to say that the Ness chair is more sporty compared to the Cotton which is more elegant. The finishes of both are of high quality, but to the Ness chair we have added leatherette details on the seat and hood, as well as protectors on the bar and handlebars, to give it a more informal touch.
Yes, yes. We already know that you like both. Now it is you who must decide which one best suits your needs and those of your little one. Do not hesitate to ask us whatever you need through the different channels enabled for this purpose. We are always with you!!!
