The importance of fabrics in baby items.

You are pregnant and in a short time your baby will come into this world to make you and everyone around you happy. It's time to start thinking about the items you will need!!! At Asalvo we have been accompanying all moms and dads like you for many years, in the beautiful adventure that is that of buying little by little everything you need: the baby stroller or trio, the crib or mini-crib, the car seat, household items (travel or playpen crib, high chair, hammock, swing...) We think about you and your baby, about the comfort of both, and we everything related to your health and well-being is concerned. Have you ever thought about how important it is to pay attention to the quality of the fabrics used to make baby items?

Today we are going to focus on the fabrics that at Asalvo we use for our outdoor items, that is, baby strollers, strollers and car seats. Your baby will spend many hours in these items, awake or asleep, but in both cases a lot of time in contact or proximity to the tissues.

At Asalvo we do not use leatherette in our baby carriages or in our strollers and we do so even though we are aware that it is the material that many moms and dads look for. Although the baby is not in direct contact with the leatherette, you will know that it is a material that retains a lot of heat and has practically zero breathability. At Asalvo we export to the whole world,  although now we are thinking of you, who live in our sunny and wonderful country, one of the most beautiful to live in due to its fantastic climate. For example, walking in summer through a city in the south of Spain, with a stroller with a carrycot whose fabric is imitation leather, can mean an average of 4-6 degrees more. And it is not only about temperature, but also sweating, which is closely related: excessive sweating in a baby can translate into redness of the skin, the appearance of eczema, itching and other adverse effects.  Of course, intense sweating is normal in many babies and although these are aspects that you should always consult with your pediatrician, the common sense of those of us who make up the entire Asalvo team (from the fabric designer to the last salesperson) leads us to tell you that You can act preventively against excessive sweating choosing the right materials in your baby stroller, stroller and even your car seat. Does it make sense to use materials that have no benefit for your baby just because it is trendy or for aesthetic reasons? You already know our answer: NO

Asalvo baby strollers and lightweight seats are made using breathable textiles, which allow air to pass through. That the air passes means that the air is renewed, that the oxygen it contains circulates and that carbon dioxide does not accumulate. It is not a Chemistry class: it is a common sense class, which should be the most common of senses when buying what a baby needs.

At Asalvo we also frequently use fabrics with hypoallergenic treatments. If poor breathability and the resulting excess sweating can lead to problems and anomalies in your baby's skin, as we have indicated before, choosing fabrics that breathe but are not adequately treated can also result in skin allergies: a hypoallergenic treatment is intended to reduce the potential risk of suffering from allergies. The skin is our barrier against external agents and its care is very important, and it is even more so for your baby.

In our extensive catalog of baby strollers and lightweight chairs we take into account the aspects that we have indicated above. We do everything with love thinking about the comfort and care of your little one. A correct choice depends on you and we have no doubt that you will make it. In this sense, we want to recommend our Genius and Wimi trios and our light Ness and Cotton chairs. In both cases we use breathable textiles and not to forget that aesthetics are also important to you, these textiles are melange fabrics, blended fabrics that are so fashionable.
