In Safe we are aware of the ssustainability of the planet, that is why we have been developing different actions for years with the firm intention of promoting positive change and that children can inherit a better world.
Within our program environmental social responsibility We are committed to preserving and caring for the environment, to achieve this we have analyzed all the natural resources that we use in the company to produce our products and looking for ways to reduce them, care for them, recycle them, reuse them... the objective: reduce our footprint on the planet.
For all this we have launched different actions:
• Packaging study. It has allowed us to reduce the consumption of paper, plastic and cardboard.
• Reduce the size of boxes and reduce carbon emissions.
• PEFC and FSC certification. Which confirm that the wood of our cribs comes from controlled forests and responsible logging.
• The paper we use is recycled.
• We've eliminated box strapping and bubble padding to reduce plastic use.
• We have a cardboard recycling system under adherence to the Ecoembes GIS system.
• Our facilities have LED lighting and intelligent on and off systems. Furthermore, we aspire to self-consumption of energy through photovoltaic panels, which is our next objective.
All areas of the company have implemented sustainability policies and we will work to incorporate new measures in the short term.
Within this social responsibility program, at Asalvo we also help the communities most affected by climate change by promoting campaigns to improve opportunities for children and their families.
