Today we focus on another of the pieces that all baby strollers have. THE HAMMOCK.

REVERSIBLE: It is very important that the chair can be placed in both directions of travel:

REMOVABLE AND WASHABLE COVER. Make sure that it comes off and can be washed in the washing machine. Many cars do not come off and I assure you that if you choose one of this type you will remember this post many times. Also see if it is easy to draw.
QUILTED TEXTILE. Make sure it is padded, no one likes to sit on a board. The quality of the fabric is also important. Textile is measured in deniers. I'm going to explain it in a very colloquial way: A thread is made up of several filaments or strands. That strand is called deniers (DEN). The more strands a thread has, the thicker it is and therefore the stronger it is.
The usual DEN with which baby stroller seats are manufactured ranges from 100 D. to 600 D. Look for strollers that have a high DEN and guarantee yourself more flawless time.

ADJUSTABLE FOOTREST. Some don't even have footrests and I assure you that it is very uncomfortable. If you can ensure that it has it and preferably that it is regulated, this will allow you to offer the child greater comfort both during the walk and during sleeping hours.
If, in addition, it is lined with rubber, imitation leather... it will help you always keep it clean just by wiping it with a wipe.
RECLINING. It is essential that the backrest reclines, and it is much better if the entire body is in a total horizontal position (180º). Children need a lot of sleep, it is during this time when they develop and recharge their batteries, which is why it is essential that it reclines completely and becomes a bed to offer maximum comfort and guarantee that its development remains adequate even when you are out for a walk.
HIGH AND WIDE BACKREST. The car is almost always bought without knowing what our child will be like, imagining a tiny being, but we must think that he will grow and should be comfortable in the car we have chosen for him. Note this point, in the market there is a lot of difference between some hammocks and others.
At this point you will have to sacrifice something, since the larger this piece is, the larger it will be folded. Decide what you prefer.
HARNESS WITH PROTECTORS. The harness is the seat belt and the protectors are the pads they wear so that it is more comfortable and the harness straps do not hurt them. Check that your car has the protectors, not all do.
HOOD. There are many sizes of hoods, I will not go into detail on this point since I consider it to be a fundamental piece that we all know. Protects from cold, humidity and sun. There are small, large and XXL. It is important that you know that some are fixed and others have the “bug ball” system that opens and closes. My recommendation is that they are large and you can fold or unfold them to offer you the protection you prefer at all times.
I particularly like that they also incorporate a visor, window and pocket and if they are lined... double sun protection!
FRONT BAR. My opinion is “always please”. Its function is security, but it has a function that has been essential to me: as a support system, my children have used it a lot. At first to place a toy worm and then to support the arms during the walk, when they grow... (I know it is not good to admit it), but it has helped me to support the cell phone or the table.

1. That it is not fixed, it is best that it be removed and put on. Better if you only need to press one button, so you can seat the child better.
2. That it can be removed for washing or that it is made of a material that allows you to clean it easily.
