Today we want to show you the Asalvo atelier, the place where the brand collections.
The atelier is a magical space, where we all go when we need to disconnect, there is enthusiasm, a place full of light, color, fabrics, materials, but above all a space full of life, creativity and optimism.
The staff that works in this department is young, dynamic and very fun, they are dedicated to creativity, design and they have to be aware of the trends in fashion and decoration to be able to create a collection that everyone likes.

In the atelier all and each of the products in our catalog from baby strollers to cribs. The creation process is made up of four phases, each of them is essential. We tell you:
Phase 1: Inspiration.
As the vast majority of design processes begin with research, observe trends, colors, materials, illustrations...
In this first part of the process our team of stylists and designers need to find inspiration, but without ever losing sight of the most important thing: what they are looking for and what interests parents around the world.
This point is fundamental and we must never lose sight of it, since The products we manufacture must adapt to families, their pace of life, their tastes and even their decoration style, since many of our products will be in your homes for years. With all this clear and continuously resonating in our heads, the design team begins to tour the main international fairs for both fashion and decoration: Première Vision in Paris, Preview in New York, Momad or Home London or IMM Cologne in Germany.
We search inspiration from fashion and decoration brands. Proposed by the big houses like Dior, Louis Vuitton or Chanel and brought by the most relevant interior designers in the world like Simon Brown, Britt Moram or the eclectic Kelly Wearstler, their proposals, their staging, the colors, the fabrics... everything serves to inspire the new Asalvo collection.

Phase 2: Experimentation.
After this first phase and loaded with new ideas, we move on to the experimentation phase, where we begin to try new things, think differently, challenge ourselves to improve ourselves and bring out the best in ourselves. We study and propose thousands of possibilities, but in the end we are very selective and We keep only the best. We look for how to combine the best fabrics, patterns, raw materials and the best sewing techniques. The product must be current, but also timeless.
Once the product is in your head We begin to shape it, it is drawn first freehand, then digitallyIn each of these steps we leave designs behind, products that we imagined were perfect but that once we see them, they do not reach the level we set.
Finally, and only with those who have passed the harsh screening of designers, we begin to work on the small details: zippers, seams, rivets, labels...
Once we see the product on paper completely finished and we like it, we move on to the third phase.

Phase 3: Produce the first sample.
Collect all the raw materials, fabrics, chassis, harnesses... and begin to manufacture what began as an idea and was later transferred to paper, now has to come to life. Every detail is important, every step is fundamental, stylists and engineers work together in the construction of the products, a team with twenty years of experience knows what to do at every moment so that everything ends with the necessary quality for cdelight parents around the world.
The appearance of the finished product is important but where we work leaving our skin It's in the components. In the quality and functionality, our product It is intended for the most important segment of the population, children, and for them the product must be perfect.

Phase 4: Security and functionality testing.
The last step in our design process is send the product to an approved international laboratory. They are the doctors of our sector. The sample is subjected to different quality, resistance and functionality tests. Are the fabrics resistant? Does it have dangerous elements for a child? Does it fulfill its function? Are the materials durable? Does it exceed the expected useful life? Is it safe? These are just some of the tests that will be carried out on the product, if any of the results come out negative we will have to start making the necessary changes until everything is perfect, that is when the product receives approval and we can start mass manufacturing.
From this moment on, responsibility stops being in the creation workshop and is in the production plants. Another day we will tell you about this other productive process.
Did you like entering our workshop? Did you imagine it like this? Leave us your comments
